NorSoft is a solutions-oriented consulting engineering company. We have three distinct areas of specialty:

• Control System Engineering
• Software Engineering
• Database Design and Programming

Our strength lies is in our ability to apply all three disciplines and in the understanding of the interaction between them. Our Senior Engineer is an Electrical Engineer by degree, a Software Engineer and a Database Programmer by training and experience.

Our Control System Engineering experience includes multiple Programmable Controller and HMI Systems. We have performed all levels of tasks in combined PLC-HMI projects and have experience in SCADA and DCS systems. We also have expertise in handling real-time data including remote data capture.

Our Software Engineering experience includes all aspects of the software product life cycle. We have worked extensively with Visual Studio .Net designing and coding medium to large scale projects. We use an object-oriented approach to software design from concept to implementation.

Our Database Programming and Design experience includes SQL Server, SQLite, Jet, MSDE and Oracle. Our database optimization and normalization techniques are developed from an object-oriented approach with proven industry experience.

Our industry experience covers: Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing, Forestry, and Food & Beverage. We have worked directly with clients or in conjunction with other consulting firms.
